One of my investments this year is to learn something like swimming. Although I got my ear flushed with water with no assurance of recovery, I would still like to share my experiences in my swimming class. Hope I will get better next week.

Swimming is relaxing. It took away my stress immediately after dipping myself in the water for 2 hours. I was able to get what I need which was relaxation and exercise that will also help me lose more weight.

To add to the great experience, I've had with swimming are my perfect Speedo goggles which I bought in Olympic Village and my blue cycling type swim suit. I have to say, I love my swim suit because like what I mentioned, it is like a cycling down there instead of the usual bikini cut lol.

The water was clear and for the first time, I swam with eyes wide opened. Well, I got used to close my eyes when I was little when swimming for fear of water getting in my eyes. But this time it was all different coz I got my confidence in my goggles lol. I love the water! I love swimming with eyes opened. I had a lot of visions underneath lol.

First Lesson: Bubbles

We were asked by the instructor to to test the waters. It was just 4ft deep so nothing to be scared about. I'm definitely not gonna drown right?

Then he asked us to take a deep breath and then go under holding our breaths for 8 to 10 seconds, we were asked to exhale and release the air in our nose.

Breathe in.
Hold your breath
Release the air in your nose
Bubbles

This sounds easy but we had difficulty doing it coz you know we got used to just inhale in the nose and exhale in the nose. But this one, we should never inhale with the nose right? sheeesh.

Bubbles was fun. I tried to create as many bubbles as I can in the water but they said it is a skill to learn proper breathing.
So more practice for me!

9intervals, the idea is derived from a cat having nine lives. I guess, I don't have to tell you how much I love cats! We've been through intervals in this lifetime. Guess, I'm lucky to be alive. I don't think I would be lucky the next time. But nevertheless, we have our intervals. A certain episode that we remember in the past that affects our future. Or maybe just something that we can learn from. A little something to look back to.
