Remedy for my sore throat
Just got back from Laguna and probably coz I did not get enough sleep and rest, I now have a sore throat.
I have to say, I'd rather have a flu than have a sore throat. The burning feeling when I swallow is too painful for me to endure.
My girlfriend keeps telling me to put salt in a glass full of water and gargle but I never listened, until I read several health websites suggesting me to try it.
They say that as you gargle, your blood supply increases enabling better circulation of antibodies in your system. This will wash away mucus and dilate capillaries.
So start mixing a teaspoon of salt in glass full of warm water and gargle the whole mixture several times a day.
I call it Mix and Gargle!
As I read further, it also helps when you take in fluids like tea and soup to decrease throat irritation and prevent dehydration.
I'm now trying tea and honey! I love honey this is all i can say.
By the way, when I was a kid we used to take this med. This is my all time fav sore throat and flu med! This is because when you take it, it taste like honey coz it is one of the ingredients and at the same time, there is this cool soothing effect that follows. A bottle would probably cost 250 pesos.

9intervals, the idea is derived from a cat having nine lives. I guess, I don't have to tell you how much I love cats!
We've been through intervals in this lifetime. Guess, I'm lucky to be alive. I don't think I would be lucky the next time. But nevertheless, we have our intervals. A certain episode that we remember in the past that affects our future. Or maybe just something that we can learn from. A little something to look back to.
